The Institute of Business Management and Research - enables its students to graduate with MBA, in the two years of study. It is the only one of its kind in India. The program provides a two - fold advantage to the students in acquiring a recognized Master Degree from a Karnatak University and industry Linked training required by the industry. This is done with the objective of providing a university based learning program and the second to reach beyond the curriculum of the University. This Management Program has gained ready acceptance by the industry, which is looking for contemporary learning and ready-to-perform managers with multiple skill sets.

Masters of Business Administration – MBA:

The Masters of Business Administration (MBA) which is approved AICTE, UGC, Ministry of HRD, Government of Karnataka, afflicted to Karnatak University, Dharwad is an integrated program designed to provide an advanced course in management for those seeking managerial positions in industry, commerce and service. The core subjects aimed developing knowledge and skill in fundamental management discipline with specialization in functional areas.

Objectives:

This course aims at realising the following objectives:

  • To provide intensive theoretical & knowledge of management.
  • To provide an integrated perspective of management. Function along with good exposure to real life cases/technical know-how.
  • To hone the analytical abilities of learners through case based method, group discussion, presentation etc.

Industry Linked Program:

The IBMR Industry Linked Program juxtaposes the courses of the MBA Program with additional courses which are either prescribed by the industry or motivated by our experienced of placing students. The additional courses not only gives all well rounded knowledge but makes them relevant and ready for the industry. The Curriculum incorporates a few foundation modules designed to equip the students with professional skills of communication, decision making, thinking and industry experience.

IBMR has addressed growing need for continues upgrading and enhancing the quality and relevance of the curriculum and methodology in its course to match the ever changing needs of industry, commerce and service.
